c.3000-2500 B.C. A pleasant and well worked plano-convex Neolithic fint "Slug knife" found near Swaffham, Norfolk and from an old Norfolk collection. Fashioned from an attractive light/dark grey coloured flint and nicely worked all over the upper surface with good and still sharp blade edges. Attractive colouration, surface patination and ageing, a pleasant example of the type. 56mm long x 19mm wide.
