Product Description

A nice quality and totally genuine fragment from the famous "Campo Del Cielo" meteorite that crashed to Earth on the border between the provinces of Chaco and Santiago Del Estero, 1000km Northwest of Buenes Aires, Argentina. Charred wood discovered under major meteorite fragments were Carbon 14 dated and this indicated that the Meteorite fell to Earth between 4200 and 4700 years ago. A nice Ochtahedrite fragment approximately 27mm x 18mm x 17mm and weighing 13 grams. supplied in plastic display box with fully descriptive labelling, a scarce and interesting item.
