c.14th/15th Century A.D. A fine quality lozenge shaped Medieval iron arrowhead with long slender tang. European but from an old Suffolk collection, collection number written on one side. A slender arrowhead with a raised mid-rib on either side and an oval stop ridge at base leading to a long slender tang for insertion into a wooden arrowshaft. Totally intact and in very nice condition for ancient iron, a really nice example, 72mm long x 13mm wide.
