c.4000 B.C. A good group of 5 Neolithic flint flake tools found many years back in the famous Prehistoric site of Le Grand Pressigny, Touraine, France and from an Hampshire Geologists collection. Various good sized and clearly worked blade and scraper like tools, all expertly fashioned from a large thin section flakes of attractive honey / toffee coloured flint, so synonymous with this area of France. A good value study or retail lot, all intact and in excellent condition with nice surfaces and attractive colouration, good sized and appealing Neolithic flake tools, typically 65-75mm long each x 45-55mm or so at widest, 12-18mm thick.
