A good sized and rare segment of Roman painted Fresco excavated in the 19th Century on the site of a large Villa in the area that once formed the famous Port of Ostia, near Rome, Italy. A good sized and attractive segment of Roman Fresco and exhibiting part of a multicoloured decorative border consisting of Grey/Black, white, ochre and greenish pigments, all still bright, with good colour and with nice smooth surfaces. Ex. West Country Victorian collection. An attractive sample of Roman Fresco supplied with small acrylic display stand, 73mm wide x 65mm deep x 22mm thick
