A good sized and rare segment of Roman painted Fresco excavated in the 19th Century on the site of a large Villa in the area that once formed the famous Port of Ostia, near Rome, Italy. A good sized and attractive segment of Roman Fresco and exhibiting part of a multicoloured decorative border consisting of Grey/Black, white, ochre and greenish pigments, all still bright, with good colour and with nice smooth surfaces.
