A good sized and excellent decorative Medieval Annular Brooch complete with pin An excellent example of a Medieval bronze annular brooch complete with its original pin found in North Yorkshire and from a Durham collection. Punched pellet in engraved crosses adorn the upper surface and traces of the original overall gilding (gold plating) can be seen within the design recesses. The brooch is totally intact and unrepaired and in very good overall condition with good surfaces and a dark bronze patina, a very nice example of the type, a nice example of the type, 27mm diameter
