SOLD
c.1300 A.D. A good sized and pleasant Medieval Bronze Annular Brooch complete with original pin found in the West Midlands and from a Staffordshire collection. The brooch appears to be made from a bronze with a high tin content as has a slightly brassy toning but at one time the brooch was probably once gilded (gold plated) but this now lost over the centuries. The brooch still has its original pin and is intact and in very good condition, a nice example of the type, 24mm diameter
