c.2500-1800 B.C. A good sized and well worked Late Neolithic / Early Bronze Age flint Barbed and Tanged arrowhead found in the 1950's in Methwold, Norfolk and from a Norfolk collection. Expertly fashioned from a most attractive mottled mottled light,dark and bluish grey flint with well defined tang and barbs and good, still sharp blade edges. a minute knock to very tip and one one side near the tip (not detracting however) otherwise totally intact and in lovely condition with an attractive shiny old collection patina overall, a nice old collection example 29mm long x 21mm wide x 4mm thick
