c.2200 - 1800 B.C. A good sized, attractive and translucent, Late Neolithic - Early Bronze age barbed and tanged flint arrowhead found in Staffordshire. Very nicely fashioned from a most attractive and totally translucent pale beige / grey flint. Bifacially worked with much pressure flaking being used to define the blade edges. Tip of one barb lost in antiquity otherwise intact and in lovely overall condition and a very nice example of the type, the translucence is particularly appealing, 33mm x 27mm.
