SOLD
c.17th Century A.D. A good sized post-Medieval Ladies bronze finger ring found many years back in Yorkshire and from a Durham collection. A plain hoop band 2-3mm wide, topped with a large oval bezel, which may have once had a stone set onto its surface but now sadly lost. The ring was probably once silvered or gilded but now merely bronze with dark green patina. In good overall condition and an affordable example. The ring could readily be worn or even be cleaned and a new stone set onto the bezel if so desired, internal diameter 19mm, bezel 19mm x 14mm
