c.100,000 to 50,000 B.C. A good study group of 4 assorted Paleolithic Core and flake tools found many years ago in Norfolk and from an old Norfolk collection. The group comprises a nicely patinated beige/grey flint small core axe (70mm) with iron oxide highlights, a large tan flint bifacial worked flake (77mm), possibly an unfinished spear head, a small nicely worked "Levallois" grey flint scraper (50mm) and a bifacially worked deep toffee coloured flint "backed blade" tool with an almost serrated edge (65mm). All pieces clearly worked and in good condition, a good value study or retail group (non-returnable)
