c.1st/2nd Century A.D. A good study group of 6 x pieces of Roman Samian Ware pottery excavated many years back on a roman Villa site in Gloucestershire. Group includes interesting shards, some being from bases or rims of Drinking vessels and bowls. On piece decorative showing a figures outstretched arms. Group also includes a free Roman bronze coin of the Roman Emperor Constantine (c.306-337 A.D) found at the same location by the finder of the shards. Largest piece 70mm approx, smallest 30mm approx. A good value study or retail group in nice overall condition, sold as seen and non-returnable
