c.6th-8th Century A.D. A great value group of 5 x Anglo Saxon bronze Garment hooks and fasteners found in North Yorkshire and from a Staffordshire collection. The group consists of one large decorative wrist clasp and four varying types of Saxon garment hooks, two complete with original hook ends and decorated on the upper surfaces with either punched pellet or pelleted border designs, the other two plain and minus hooks. All are in reasonable overall condition and still decent collectable examples; the group makes a great value starter, study or retail lot, the largest item measures 34mm x 11mm, the smallest 23mm x 7mm.
