Cromerian - Anglian Interglacials c.MIS 21-17, c.866,000 - 674,000 BC. A group of 3 x Lower Paleolithic " flint flake tools & flake core from the famous Paleolithic site of Happisburgh, Norfolk (Pronounced "Hazeboro"). [Happisburgh together with Pakefield, Suffolk are just couple of sites on the East Anglian coast that has yielded definitive and scientifically dated proof for the earliest habitation by Prehistoric Man in the entirety of the U.K. Finds at Happisburgh and Pakefield in recent years have now pushed back proven Hominid occupation in the UK by some 200,000-300,000 years to in excess of 800,000 years B.C. and as such Happisburgh and (neighbouring) Pakefield are now considered to be two of the most important Prehistoric habitation sites in the U.K.] There is a grey flint flake core (95mm) plus a crude flint flake blade (67mm) and a bifacially worked scraper / borer multi-tool in an attractive honey coloured flint (60mm) .
