A cheap study group of 6 small fragments of Cartonnage (Gesso & Linen) from an Ancient Egyptian Mummy Sarcophagus, excavated in the early 20th Century and from an old Northern Irish collection. 5 of the fragments are plain but the largest fragment (37mm) still exhibits a clear painted wing like design in black, ochre and white pigments, Egyptian Cartonnage rarely appears for sale and this is a chance to add a small cheap group of fragments to your own collection, presented in a small display box, smallest fragment 10mm, largest fragment 37mm
