c.3rd/4th Century A.D. A heavy and robust Roman bronze open ended women's bracelet found in Nottinghamshire. Of thick robust form with rounded terminal ends and simple inscribed vertical band decoration around. A slightly patchy overall green surface patination with a little minor surface roughness in parts as excavated, but otherwise intact, in good condition and of solid metal. Could easily be cleaned and worn again if so desired. Supplied in a display / gift box. A decent and very affordable example of the type, 65mm wide x 56mm deep, internal dimensions 54mm x 46mm, band approx 7mm thick.
