c.1st/2nd Century A.D. A huge and very ornate Roman glass bead originally excavated in Eastern Germany and from a London collection. Fashioned from a dark blue glass and extensively decorated with many inlaid blue and white glass ringlets very reminiscent of eyes. Pierced centrally for suspension. Intact and in nice condition with just a couple of tiny old knocks, light irridecence in parts. A large, impressive and appealing Roman glass bead, 27mm x 22mm x 19mm
