c.14th Century A.D. A large and excellent Medieval socketed iron arrowhead excavated many years ago from the River Thames in London. A long, slender and elegant Laurel leaf style arrow head with a small conical socket at base for affixing to a wooden shaft. Totally intact and in very nice condition for ancient iron with good surfaces and just some minor surface pitting from its long term immersion in the River. A very nice example of its type, 110mm long x 13mm at widest.
