c.1500 A.D. A large and heavy red terracotta fishermans net weight. Of tapering form, pierced at top for attachment to net by a piece of rope. Old chip to base otherwise intact and in nice condition, 142mm long x 80mm wide x 33mm thick, an interesting item. Found in Sussex.
