Mid-Bronze Age c.1500-1200 B.C. A large and impressive European Bronze Age decorative bronze cloak pin. A substantial piece with a large flattened head and a raised decorative furrowed decorative collar some 25mm down the from the head, the shank then gently tapers to the tip. A couple of minute knocks and the odd spot of minor surface encrustation here and there otherwise totally intact and in good overall condition with a mottled dark bronze and light green patination, an impressive piece and a decent and affordable example of the type, 127mm long x head 11mm diameter
