c.200-100 B.C. A large and impressive rim section from an enormous Iron Age bulbous Storage jar, found at Brantham, Suffolk. Of very distinctive Iron Age style with a large curled over rim and from a vessel of considerable size possibly approaching a metre in diameter, possibly used for storing grain in. A large, heavy and impressive shard and in very nice condition with good stable surfaces, 200mm wide x 125mm high x 78mm deep.
