Early Bronze age c.1800-1600 B.C. A large and pleasant Early Bronze age Barbed & Tanged flint arrowhead found in the early 1970's in North Yorkshire and from an old Yorkshire collection. Nicely fashioned from a pleasant cream & buff coloured flint, well worked with a good tip and still sharp edges together with small but nicely defined barbs. An old inked collection number "14" on one side. A couple of minute knocks to barbs and tang in antiquity (none detracting) otherwise totally intact and in good overall condition, A very nice and much larger than usual example, 33mm long x 29mm wide.
