c.1200-1300 A.D. A large and pleasant Early Medieval bronze Crucifix (Cross) pendant originally found in the West Midlands and from a Staffordshire collection. Flared ends of cross all feature an engraved annulet design. Totally intact and in very nice condition with an attractive overall light green suface patination. This cross is solid and robust with a good suspension loop on the top and could potentially be worn again on a chain if so desired. A large and appealing example, 44mm high x 33mm wide x 3mm thick.
