SOLD
Cretaceous period c.90-65 million years old. A large and pleasant fossilised Sea Urchin found in Suffolk and now reconstituted in solid flint and mineral through the fossilisation process. Clear detail around its perimter showing when vertical rows of spines would once have been attached and miraculously on the under side, even the detail of two rows of tube feet have been preserved. Solid, heavy and in nice condition overall, would make an interesting addition to any collection or even an unusual paper weight for someone, 69mm long x 57mm wide x 42mm high.
