c.3000 - 2500 B.C. A large and superbly worked Neolithic Oblique flint arrowhead from Cambridgeshire and from an old collection. A good sized example, of semi-translucent greyish flint with a flat underside and copious amounts of fine working over the upper surface plus re-touching to finely hone the blade edge, together with the characteristic large single curved and back swept barb. Tiny knock to edge of barb otherwise totally intact and in lovely condition with a pleasant old surface patina, a very nice example of the type, 46mm long x 26mm wide
