c.3000 B.C. A large and very nicely worked Neolithic "Piriform" flint Spear head found many years ago near Swaffham, Norfolk and from an old Norfolk collection. The spear head has been expertly fashioned from an attractive mottled light and dark grey flint. Nicely symmetrical and well worked on either side. Excellent surfaces with nice ageing and an attractive shiny old collection patina, a very appealing and tactile example of the type, 74mm long x 40mm wide x 8mm at thickest,
