c.1500 B.C. A large Mid-Bronze Age Cypriot terracotta "Milk Bowl" with some damage to one side and which is still as yet un-repaired and exactly as excavated in the early-mid-20th Century. The vessel is around 75-80% intact and there are 1 large and 4 smaller pieces which fit to the main bowl and when glued together should constitute most of the lost area. The underside of the main bowl features a feint radial painted line decoration around and there is the typical small lateral loop handle on one side. The main vessel is in reasonable condition for its great age and is still a very collectable piece in itself, the addition of the other fragments will also make it an interesting restoration project for someone, a good sized and very affordable Ancient Cypriot vessel, bowl 130mm diameter, 150mm to end of handle x 70mm deep.
