c.600 - 300 B.C. A large, rare and excellent, Late Bronze age / Early Iron Age bronze ring headed "Swan Neck" cloak pin found in Wiltshire many years back and from a Cornish collection. A very unusual and appealing Bronze Age clothing accessory manufactured from a single piece of bronze and consisting of a large thick section bronze ring with a long, slender undulating (swan neck) pin. Totally intact and in super condition with excellent surfaces and an attractive shiny deep green and brown patination, 95mm long, ringed head 28mm in diameter. A rare, appealing and seldom offered Iron Age item.
