c.10,000-6,000 B.C. A large, well worked and excellent Mesolithic flint hand pick from Kent. Nicely and bi-facially worked into a slightly sickle shaped tool that fits well in the hand with a wide grip area with some remaining original pebble cortex and a pronounced and functional digging point. Very nice condition with good surfaces and an attractive colouration and patination, a good sized and nicely worked Mesolithic hand tool, 137mm long x 50mm deep x 35mm thick.
