c.9th/10th Century A.D. A large,excellent and attractively patinated Viking Tri-sided ornate strap junction. From an old U.S. collection and collected in the 1990's. A robust and attractive item with three leather strap apertures, each segment divided by a bulbous terminal and also featuring a raised central decorative boss. Totally intact, in lovely condition with a most attractive overall deep green patination, a very appealing and tactile Viking artefact, 38mm x 38mm.
