c.700 B.C. A Late Bronze Age, bronze spiral hair ring found in Germany many years back and from a Scottish collection. Simplistically formed from a slightly coiled thick bronze wire; these hair spirals would have been worn in groups as a hair adornments and were possibly once even silvered or gilded but now with just a dark brownish patina. Some light surface roughness but otherwise intact and a decent affordable example of the type, approximately 16mm diameter
