A good group of 12 x Mesolithic Portland flaked Chert Bladelet tools and a Chert blade core all excavated close to the famous Culverwell habitation site, Portland Bill, Isle of Portland, Dorset and from a Hampshire Geologists collection but originally hailing from an older collection amassed in the 1970's. All pieces clearly worked and well defined with a pleasant overall mottled grey patination, a great value and interesting Mesolithic study group at less than £3.00 a piece from a famous Mesolithic site, individual sizes typically range from 70mm to 25mm or so,
