A good group of 20 x Mesolithic Portland flaked Chert Blades, scrapers, burins and Blade cores all excavated close to the famous Culverwell habitation site, Portland Bill, Isle of Portland, Dorset and from a Hampshire Geologists collection but originally hailing from an older collection amassed in the 1970's. All pieces clearly worked and well defined with a pleasant overall mottled grey patination, a great value and interesting Mesolithic study group at less than £2.00 a piece from a famous Mesolithic site, individual sizes typically range from 55mm to 35mm or so,
