c.1450 A.D. A lovely Ancient Chinese glazed bowl on pedestal base rescued from the wreck of the "Hoi An", a large Vietnamese trading ship that sunk in the South China Seas 22 miles of the coast of Vietnam in the mid 15th Century A.D. The bowl is cream glazed with applied ornated geometric decoration in a greyish blue glaze with a concentric ring decoration inside the bowl and a central makers insignia. Just one tiny knock to rim otherwise the vessel is totally intact and in superb condition with all glaze still vibrant and shiny. Supplied with a large decriptive label. An appealing Ancient bowl, 92mm diameter x 63mm high.
