c.4th Century B.C. A lovely Ancient Greek, Corinthian votive Skyphos (twin handled bowl) excavated in the 1960's in Greece and from an old Norfolk collection. Small flat base with a wide shallow bowl and twin opposed horizontal loop handles. Cream coloured terracotta with applied concentric ring design around outside of bowl in an umber pigment. A couple of spots of very minor wear and slight accretion from its time buried in the earth otherwise it is totally intact and in very nice overall condition, a pleasant and appealing Ancient Greek votive vessel, bowl 45mm diameter, 73mm across handles, 27mm deep.
