SOLD

c.3000 B.C. A major segment of a very finely worked Neolithic flint dagger fashioned from a pleasant semi-translucent pale grey flint. A super, thin sectioned blade, extensively worked and pressure flaked on either side to create, almost serrated blade edges. Found on Cherry Tree Farm, Swaffham, Norfolk and from an old Norfolk collection. In lovely condition with good surfaces and a very nice example of the type, a very appealing and tactile piece, 71mm long x 33mm wide x 5mm at thickest.
