c.1300-1400 A.D. A Medieval Bronze buckle plate featuring an embossed Dragon design, found in the River Thames, London in the 1990's and from an old London collection of Thames finds. Dragon design still quite bold and clear, small chip to one corner otherwise good. Probably once silvered or gilded but now merely bronze toned, 27mm x 32mm.
