c.1400 A.D. A long slender iron dagger with a flattened tope edge and a tang at the buut end for insertion into a wooden or bone handle. Slight pitting and niblling in places but otherwise in good overall condition for ancient iron with a pleasant dark surface patination. Found in the River Thames many years ago and more recently from an old Norfolk collection. 190mm long x 16mm at widest.
