c.5000 - 3000 B.C. A most attractive Neolithic tri-sided flint scraper / knife tool found at Nacton, on the Ancient foreshore of the River Orwell, Ipswich, Suffolk and from an old Suffolk collection. Expertly fashioned from a elongate triangulated flake of the most attractive brown, grey and black banded flint. Worked on each side to form a tri-sided scraper / knife tool, totally intact nd in excellent condition. A most attractive and appealing example, 67mm long x 52mm at widest x 15mm at thickest
