Of thick and heavy construction and featuring a large loop through which the horses reins would have passed with a conjoined smaller squarer loop which would have been fixed to a fastening strap. Intact and in very nice condition with a pleasant overall dark patina, a nice example of the type, 32mm x 27mm x 9mm
