A nice fossil Fern frond in its complete pebble as found with both the positive fossil and the negative impression in the upper half of the pebble that it was discovered in. Upper half of pebble split when struck to reveal the fern but since repaired to whole. Interesting to open the pebble to show the fern within. Ex early 20th Century collection, a pleasant example, frond 55mm long pebble 67mm long x 37mm.
