Eocene period c.50 million years old. A nice group of 3 x Fossil leaf limestone slabs originally believed to hail from Italy and from an old 19th Century collection. All of the leaves are nicely prepared and very typical of a Victorian era display fossil, two slabs have feint old pencil inscriptions on the reverse and one has an old ink inscription which seems to cite "Naples" within it. Smallest slab 88mm, largest slab 150mm. A very nice study group.
