Our Price: £35.00

c.3000 B.C. A nice little group of four assorted Neolithic tools found near Stowmarket, Suffolk some years back and from a Norfolk collection. The group consists of a large and nicely worked flint scarper, two small thumb scrapers (scrapers used for cutting and scraping fat from animal hides prior to tanning them and turning them into clothing), plus a well worked tri-hedral flint awl probably used for making stitch holes in skins and hides. Large scraper c.60mm, awl 58mm, all in very nice condition, a nice and reasonably priced study or retail group,
