c.3000 B.C. A nicely worked Neolithic semi-translucent discoidal flint scraper tool found near Swaffham, Norfolk and from a Norfolk collection. This pleasant scraper is fashioned from a pleasant semi-translucent light and dark grey flint and has been very nicely worked around it perimeter to produce good sharp and functional blade edges. Totally intact and a decent example of the type with excellent surfaces and an attractive old collection surface patination, 49mm long x 38mm wide x 8mm at thickest.
