c.4th Century B.C. A large and pleasant Ancient Greek (Apulian) single handled terracotta drinking cup with a small pedestal base; hailing from the Greek colonies of Southern Italy and ex. old West Country collection. Originally black glazed all over and a good portion of this remains but just a bit patchy in parts, otherwise the cup is totally intact, un-restored and in excellent condition with good surfaces with a light iridescence to remaining glaze. A good sized and appealing Ancient Greek vessel, 105mm diameter (128mm across handle) x 50mm high.
