4th Century B.C. A pleasant Ancient Greek (Apulian) single handled terracotta drinking cup from the Greek colonies of Southern Italy and from a West Country collection. Attractive red glazed interior and red glazed single band decoration around the outside of the cup. Originally excavated broken but has now been skillfully repaired to whole. A pleasant and very affordable example of this interesting Ancient Greek drinking vessel, 97mm diameter (124mm across handle) x 38mm high.
