c.1st Century B.C. A pleasant Celtic bronze domed Horse harness strap mount found in the Midlands and from a Staffordshire collection. A robust example featuring a hollow domedhead and strap loop below most likely an adornement for a horse harness strap. Probably once silvered or gilded but now purely bronze. Intact and in very nice condition with an attractive deep green surface patination, a pleasant example, domed head 13mm diameter, strap loop 13mm diameter x 3mm wide.
