c.1100 A.D. A pleasant Norman / Early Medieval period bronze Dog leash swivel terminal found in Cambridgeshire. A terminal from an elaborate dog leash swivel; originally one of pair held together by an iron pivot pin allowing them to rotate freely preventing hunting dog leads from becoming entangled. A pleasant example with decorative shoulders and a pleasant light green patination, 18mm wide x 18mm high
