c.1500-1600 A.D. A pleasant Post Medieval bronze Crucifix (Cross) pendant, European in origin but from a Suffolk collection. Engraved and stylised nested Cross design on either side and a large suspension loop at the top. Probably once silvered or gilded but now merely bronze in appearance. Some light surface wear from its time buried in the Earth but otherwise totally intact and in nice overall condition, still wearable if required, 27mm high, 15mm wide
