c.17th Century A.D. A pleasant post-Medieval Ladies bronze finger ring with inset green stone found many years back in Yorkshire and from a Durham collection. A plain flat hoop band 3mm at base widening towards the small circular raised bezel (8mm) which is inset with its original domed and polished pale green stone. The ring was probably once silvered or gilded but now merely bronze with green patina. A tiny inconspicuous split in band at 6 o'clock could be repaired for wearing again as the ring is otherwise in good shape and robust. Internal diameter of ring 18mm, band 3mm widening to 8mm at bezel, a pleasant little ring,
